Chickland Duplex was a designed for a client that had an open brief and a fixed budget. The client stipulated that the design was to be created for rental or resale, was of a high quality and kept within their budget for for a successful project.

With these ideas in mind, we decided to create a clean, modern duplex residential with each unit consisting of two bedrooms, two baths and an open plan living space. To keep cost down, the project was designed to follow the contours of the land as closely as possible, which created the stepped design in elevation, while retaining a single level in each unit.
